What is an IAP?
An Internet access point (IAP) is a GPRS or high-speed connection provided by your telecom operator. If your phone is not set up with an access point, you can add one manually.
Note:
You cannot use a WAP gateway as your Internet access point.
Adding access points
Open your phone's "Tools" folder and go to "Settings "
Select "Connection" and "Access points"
Press "Options" and select "New access point"
If asked, choose "Default settings"
Opera provides an on-line guide for setting up access points:

Tip:
Visit the on-line guides with your desktop browser.
Establishing a connection
A connection dialog will pop up if you are not connected to the Internet.
Select an access point, and your phone will establish a connection.
